- Modified cookie creation so cookies will correctly work for sub-domain replication

Subdomain cannot store cookies.

After some research, we confirmed that sub-domain replicated sites CANNOT create a cookie for tracking purposes by the xFlow.

If you are running subdomain replication and have enabled your cookies for member tracking, you can either swith back to regular replication, or create a field on your signup form(s) where a new member MUST fill out the username of the first person that referred them to your site.

In case you are wondering about the shopping cart, then no worries. It doesn't run off of cookies, as it runs off the (generally, depending on your settings) first reseller of the customer. Meaning, that the first person on whose web site they purchased something.

Sub-domain replication and cookies.

It has been brought to our attention that cookies were not stored when sub-domain replication was enabled on an xFlow.

Unfortunately, due to the way a cookie is stored and created on a computer, it is not possible to track a visitor on a sub-domain replication.

The new subaccount feature that was released in the last upgrade, is missing the subaccount.htmlt file. We will release a tiny upgrade for this. For a fix, simply create a file with the above filename and place it in the htmlt/marea directory, or if you are using multiple Member's Only Areas, then into the appropriate 'templates' directories.

Don't forget to add the ' index.cgi?~authtext~&action=subaccount ' link into the Member's Only Area and give privileges to the member.

Source code must be requested.

A new feature was added, allowing members to create 'sub-accounts'. This is different than creating a new position, as this 'sub-account' will be like a clone of the member, with a life of it's own. The Online Manuals will be upgraded soon.

Upgrade Bug

The upgrade released yesterday, had a small packaging problem, resulting in the loss of the currency sign in the xFlow, and the images directory path.

If you see this problem in your xFlow, either contact us, or goto the Setup->General Settings menu, and enter the currency sign again. Then
goto the Setup->General Settings->System Settings menu, and change the URL to the /images/ directory on the server. Just change the "/wsr" at the end to "/xflow", and that's it.

We felt that the title 'The Web Site Replicator (WSR)' no longer does justice to the actual power and versatility of the software. It is much more than a simple site replicator. It has become an all-in-one online business management solution, encompassing everything you need for your business (if it doesn't, then we will customize it for you).

All in all, you will see an amazing change to the look of the ex-WSR the next time you upgrade, and some new features.

We have updated the documentation and most of the site, but we will need to adjust the screenshots, which will take us some time.

With a manual installation, you can now offer web based email to your members. You will need a dedicated a server, and a secondary domain for email addresses is highly recommended. We will post details on this soon, and will be offering this little add-on starting early next week.

We weren't surprised when 2Checkout decided to make changes to their integration. But their V2 is unfortunately not usable in the WSR. They require the shopping cart items to be set up individually in their system as well, and this is not possible in the WSR without some major customization. Sorry.

New price increases are announced. Starting April 15th, the price of the WSR will be $1299/license, or $500/3 months for the financing plan. The full purchase plan will include 1 hour of pre-paid customer support, but customer support will be charged at $80/hour, regardless of purchase plan type.

A major announcement. We have begun expansions to accomodate the growing needs of our clients and future resellers. The training of an entire team of developers has begun, and will be completed by mid-March. This will enable us to handle any request for any customization, and will provide the backbone of our global expansion.
In the next 6 months, we will strive to become the 'house-hold' item for all entrepreneurs and network marketing businesses and take our place amongst the MLM software giants. Several large-scale developments are planned, including a multi-language and PHP version of the WSR.

Price changes

In the past couple of weeks, new clients and their request for development has halted our ability to attend to small customizations that are requested by our clients. We are currently looking for a reseller/development company to divert some of the customizations to. In the meantime, all small customization requests will have to be turned down, and/or be dealt with on a time availability basis. We hope to have an entire development team, trained personally by the Lead Developer, behind us within a few weeks, who will take care of all of the customization requests.
We have also changed our prices on the WSR license, to better accomodate startup businesses. This however, also changed some of our support charges. For more information about these changes, read the Support Policies, or go to our Skymarx Difference page.
We have also updated our License Agreement, most of our User Manuals and our KnowledgeBase.
